What we keep, and why.
Who we are
YachtMotion is a product of Digital Delivery GmbH, Rigiweg 21A, 6343 Holzhäusern ZG, Switzerland ("we"). Questions about this notice: hello@yachtmotion.com.
What we collect
When you apply for the founding pilot or write to us, we receive the details you give us: name, company, work email, role, business type, whether you are at the Monaco Yacht Show, what you would like to test and any meeting preferences, together with the time of the application and the page it was sent from. This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and no tracking pixels. Our web host also keeps server log files of visits to this site.
Why, and on what basis
To assess the application, to reply and to arrange a meeting; if your company joins the pilot, to run it under the pilot agreement. The basis is your consent when you send the form and the steps needed before entering into a contract with you (FADP; GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) for EU/EEA visitors). You can withdraw consent at any time by email.
Who sees it
The YachtMotion team at Digital Delivery. Applications are sent by our web host GoDaddy. GoDaddy runs the form and the outgoing mail service on our behalf under contract, on servers in the European Union. Our contract is with GoDaddy.com, LLC in the United States and GoDaddy Europe Limited in the United Kingdom. Each application is then delivered to our company mailbox, which Microsoft runs for us on Microsoft 365. We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How long
Applications and other messages to us are deleted 24 months after the last contact. Server log files are kept for 30 days. Contract and accounting records are kept for 10 years, as Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations requires. Data of pilot customers is kept for the duration of the agreement and the statutory retention periods that follow.
Your rights
Access, correction, deletion, and withdrawal of consent, at any time, by email. Swiss residents may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern. EU/EEA residents may complain to their supervisory authority.
Visitors to a film page
A film page sets no cookie and runs no counter or tracker. As for every page of this site, our web host keeps its server log of requests for 30 days. An inquiry sent from a film page holds the name, email address, optional phone and message you typed, and the version of the notice you saw; no address or device of yours is stored with it. It goes to the agency named on the page. YachtMotion keeps it for that agency until it expires, 12 months after it arrives. Scheduled cleanup then empties it, and its details can remain until a cleanup pass succeeds. It ends earlier when the agency deletes it, the film is deleted or the customer's account ends. It is used only to answer that inquiry; we never write to you. Our web host passes the inquiry on, and we keep no copy of it on this site. To count how many inquiries one visitor sends in 15 minutes, this site keeps a scrambled form of your address. It keeps it with the times of your inquiries, in the host's temporary folder, until the host empties that folder. To have an inquiry deleted, ask the agency, or write to hello@yachtmotion.com and we pass the request to the agency.
Photographs
No photographs are collected through this site. Photographs supplied during the pilot are covered by the image policy and the pilot agreement.
