The rule
YachtMotion makes films only from photographs the customer supplies and declares. We do not take images from brokerage websites, marketplaces, social media or image search — not for films, not for demonstrations, not for our own marketing. The demonstration imagery on this site and in our press material is licensed for that purpose.
The declaration
Before the first film, the customer confirms in the app that it is authorised to use each photograph for the marketing of the yacht and to have it processed into a film, and names the source of the photographs (own photographer, commissioned shoot, owner-supplied, or a licence). The declaration is recorded with the film. Photographs are not accepted through this website.
Processing
Photographs are read and turned into film scenes by outside AI companies we use for those steps. We do not use a customer's photographs or films to train or improve any model. That promise is ours alone: some of those companies' terms let them use what they receive to develop their models. We name each company and what its terms allow on request at hello@yachtmotion.com. Photographs and films are kept until the customer deletes them or the account ends.
Photographers and owners
If you believe a photograph has been used without authorisation, write to hello@yachtmotion.com. We take the film out of circulation while we investigate and reply within two working days.
